The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive has broken the lap record for electric cars on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, setting a time of 7 minutes and 56.234 seconds. The SLS is also the first EV to lap the famous track in under 8 minutes.
